the Vision
The Open Circle, is the base of all my designs. Inspired by the spiral, which is symbolic of change, this shape supports the addition and subtraction of other jewelry elements like pearls, precious stones, and other found objects. These modular creations encourage the wearer to reflect ones individuality and personal evolution.
The OPEN Collection© allows one to collect handcrafted original pieces, build upon them, and dynamically change designs each time a piece is worn.
About the Artist
Kimberly went to Saipan in 1996 to teach and travel in the South Pacific before moving to Hawai’i in 2001. After completing her Masters in Fine Art at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, she decided to pursue her passion for creating hand forged jewelry. Inspired by her experiences in the Pacific islands, Kimberly now works from her Kailua studio, creating unique jewelry that conveys the magic and power of the Islands.

***Caring For Your Silver Jewelry
I use Sterling Silver in my work. Natural oils in your skin, different air quality, body chemistry, and other environmental factors may encourage your silver to tarnish over time. Sterling Silver may be easily polished to restore the shine. I include a polishing pad with every purchase.
All oxidized Sterling Silver and Copper, is done by hand and may result in subtle differences of tone and color - it is not a black coating on the metal. The blackened color may fade and change over time resulting in wonderful aged look.
